Brown: The city is really beautiful.
Li: Yes, it is.
Brown: Where shall I be staying?
Li: You'll be staying at the Garden Hotel.
Brown: Is it a first class Hotel?
Li: Yes, it is one of the best in the city.
Brown: It's really hot, Is it an air-conditioned hotel?
Li: Yes, of course. We have reserved a room with a private bathroom. At the Garden Hotel, twenty-four-hour room service is guaranteed. At the business center, services including copying, typing, telex and facsimile are available. The hotel offers a complete convetion service. It has a nice restaurant,a bar anda laundry etc.
Brown: Sounds great. But is it conveniently located?
Li: Yes, it is located downtown. We shall get there soon. It is only about a fifty minutes ride.
Brown: Mr. Li,what about tomorrow's arrangement?
Li: I'll pick you up at the hotel at 8:30 in the morning, and our general manager will be meeting you in our company at 9:00. In the aftenoon, you both will attend a news conference. Is that all right?
Brown: That's all right.
Li: Here we are, Mr. Brown. This is the Garden Hotel. Let's go in and go to the reception desk.

Wilson: Yes I am.
Mei: I'm Mei Wen, The secretary of China National Textiles Import & Export Corporation.
Wilson: How do you do, Miss Mei.
Mei: How do you do, Mr. Wilson. Welcome to China.
Wilson: Thank you. It's very kind of you to come to meet me at the airport, Miss Mei.
Mei: It's my pleasure. I hope you will enjoy your stay here.
Wilson: Thank you. I'm sure I will.
Mei: Did you have a pleasant flight?
Wilson: Yes, quite a nice flight.
Mei: I'm glad to hear that. Now shall we go and see about your baggage?
Wilson: Yes. Where is the baggage-claim area?
Mei: It's down there at Gate No.5. How many pieces of baggage do you have?
Wilson: Two suitcases.
Mei: Here we are. Could you point them out?
Wilson: Yes. This blue one, and that black one.
Mei: Since you have picked up your baggage, and now let's proceed through the customs. 梅雯: 请问，你是美国来的约翰逊先生吗？
