In the event that we observe discrepancy in documents we shall provide our notice of refusal in accordance therewith and if we elect to contact the applicant for a waiver, and receive an acceptable waiver, we shall effect settlement according to the LC terms and the documents will be released without your instructions to the contrary prior to such release

他这个条款应该可以接受，但是你必须***你的单据没有可挑剔的不符点！
这是我认为的！待高手批评指正！

跟我这一条差不多,请高手帮忙翻译且指点:
In the event that documents presented hereunder are determined to be discrepant, we may seek a waiver of such discrepancies from the applicant. Should such a waiver be obtained, we may release the documents and effect settlement, notwithstanding any prior communication to the presenter that we are holding documents at the presenter's disposal, unless we have been instructed by the presenter prior to our release of documents.

不错!1楼\4楼所说的都是比较正常的LC条款,是开证行的免责条款!
------具体措辞可能差异很多,但要声明的内容基本一致:如果单据有不符点,开证有权直接与开证申请人联系放弃不符点,并有权根据受益人放弃不符点的声明办理付款放单!(类似的条款本人已经先后翻译或者解释过10遍以上啦!)
