Requirement to open bank account in Hong Kong

1. Proof of identity (I.D. Card, passport);

2. Proof of business activity(company web-site, pamphlet, purchase and/or sales agreement);

Procedure:

HSBC

1. Director/s should bring along the documents required to open a bank account to any of our Cheuk Ying offices personally;

2. Director/s should sign the bank opening form before Cheuk Ying staff;

3. Full set of bank opening documents duly signed will be courier to HSBC via our office in Hong Kong;

4. When HSBC have scrutinized and approve the application, bank account number will be issued;

5. Bank will mail out the cheque book, ATM card, Bank Code, Code device to our Hong Kong office or to our client¡¯s corresponding address according to the client¡¯s instruction.

6. The whole cycle will take 5-10 working days.

For other major banks in Hong Kong

4. Director/s should sign the bank opening form before the bank officer;

5. When the bank have scrutinized and approve the application, bank account number will be issued;

5. Bank will mail out the cheque book, ATM card, Bank Code, Code device to our Hong Kong office or to our client¡¯s corresponding address according to the client¡¯s instruction.

6. The whole cycle will take 5-10 working days.
